My wife, Holly, a jeweler in the business for almost 50 years and Metal Clay Master Artist has been testing these New Heat-Resistant Opals extensively to study and learn how they could be fired in place in Metal Clay and Sand Casting. They can tolerate temperatures of 1650ºF / 900 ºC for 2 hours!!!! The results are so exciting!
